    Re: Asafa hurt again

He hasn't completed a race yet, this year... things are not looking good for him. I can't see him making the WC team this year with trials 1 month away. I think Asafa needs to take a...

  3. Re: Bolt nearly beaten in Cayman Invite; Runs pedestrian 10.09!

I would say because the list of people who can beat Bolt is 3 people long; 2 effectively since you can pretty much write off Powell in major championships. 1 is in very good shape this season (Gay)...
  4. Re: Bolt nearly beaten in Cayman Invite; Runs pedestrian 10.09!

“I had a bad start but I will try to get it right next time,” said Bolt after recording the slowest performance of his career in a 100m final.

  5. Bolt nearly beaten in Cayman Invite; Runs pedestrian 10.09!

The camera work is horrendous and it looks like he actually lost to Kemar Bailey-Cole, but according to the photo finish Bolt is clearly the winner. The real question is did Bailey-Cole let Bolt win?...

    Re: Winds at Drake

I've never been either, but a quick google search says no, not really. There are stands that look like about what you would find at your typical large high school that wrap around 3/4ths of the track.
  7. Re: Yoshihide Kiryu equals Junior World Record 10.01

Wow!! Insane! I would be interested to find out what Kiryu does for training as well. He certainly doesn't look like someone capable of running those times; he's not really muscular and looks kinda...

    Re: Winds at Drake

0_o And Markesh Woodson is just coming off of running 6.60 indoors and placing 4th or 5th at NCAA's in the 60m. I'm having a hard time seeing how Drake ever expects to become a legitimate big-time...
  9. Re: brazil copacabana 14.42 bolt 150m straight

I thought he did too. And yet he still ran a 14.42, which was only .07 away from the 14.35 he ran in 2009 and we know how that year turned out. 100m split appears to be in the 9.9 range.

Re: Pistorius complains after Paralympic defeat

Nothing against Pistorius or any other paralympians, but there is no way he or anyone else with prosthetic limbs should EVER be allowed to compete in the Olympics or WC's or any other major...

    Re: Blake 9.69 Lausanne

Great race! Blake is making a habit of upstaging Bolt in the late, late season races. I've seen Tyson give up many times in races; almost always against Bolt, but I think he's starting to get the...

Lol, you're completely missing the point! Yes, the NFL generates more revenue for the gambling industry than any other sport, but again gambling had very little if anything to do with my post. My...

Well, that's not really what I'm thinking. I'm not talking about some circus side-show that degenerate gamblers flock to to get their fix. I'm talking about a professional league with all the top...

There is some truth in that, but ultimately the media just gives what the consumers want and the consumers want pretty, usually light-skinned girls. If there is anyone to blame it's the American...

    Re: 200m Predictions

Well, Bolt to win gold is the safest bet, but the payout is gonna be terrible. If you take the line as it is now, you will win just over $2100. I think there is too much risk in this field to...

    Re: 200m Predictions

Yeah, I understand the case that Jimson is making, but honestly, I think Blake's 19.26 was a fluke. Blake is a beast with world-class SE, no doubt, but running the 2nd 100 faster than the first 100...
