    Curve running

Does running the curve come natural for some and not others for example I suck at running a curve indoor and outdoor. You couldnt pay me to run it right! But in running the straightaway Im getting back to my elite status. I dont mean to ramble but is it like your body makeup or what is it? Me and a coach had this discussion over this today because his son has the slingshot effect down very good and I tend to lose speed on the curve. I would appreciate the help on this subject matter. Thank you all in advance.
